Digital Radiography in Daphne, AL

Digital dental x-rays are a modern imaging technology used by our team at Eastern Shore Endodontics to gain clear and precise images of a patient's teeth and surrounding structures. Using digital radiography, Dr. Manasco can more easily identify issues that might not be visible to the naked eye, allowing for a more complete understanding of the health of your teeth, jaw, and gums. Digital x-rays can reveal a variety of conditions, including tooth decay, cavities, abscesses, cysts, bone atrophy, and cracks, allowing our providers to treat them promptly before they worsen. If you are suffering from severe dental damage or decay, or if your dentist has referred you for endodontic treatment, schedule a consultation and exam at Eastern Shore Endodontics in Daphne, AL to learn how dental digital radiography can enhance your treatment experience.

Digital dental x-rays usually take about 5 – 10 minutes to complete. For most patients, we will take a series of x-rays to assess different parts of the mouth. For your x-ray, we'll direct you to gently bite down on a small sensor placed between your teeth. The x-ray machine will then capture the images, which are sent to our computer to be compiled and analyzed. When the process is complete, Dr. Manasco will sit with you to review the images and point out any issues he sees. From there, he'll discuss your treatment options and what you can expect.

Dental health professionals have relied on x-rays for more than a century to help diagnose and treat patients more effectively. With dental digital radiography, we've brought this technology to a new level, giving our providers at Eastern Shore Endodontics a more comprehensive understanding of your oral health. Digital dental x-rays also elevate our patients' experience, providing benefits that include:

  • Higher image quality for more precise procedure planning
  • Fast results
  • Reduced radiation exposure
  • Better accuracy and efficiency when diagnosing oral health concerns

Great Experience!

No one looks forward to a root canal! However Dr Manasco and his Staff made the experience as tolerable as possible! I had an unusual situation in that the tooth was part of a bridge and they were able to save the bridge so hopefully I won’t have to get a new one. However, what impressed me the most was the Dr called me that evening to check on me to see how the tooth was doing.

  • Good general health
  • Routine dental needs
  • Monitoring oral changes
  • Restorative planning goals
  • Comfort with in-office imaging

Certain conditions or sensitivities may require modified imaging techniques. We tailor every radiographic approach to ensure safety and comfort. Again, our team will thoroughly assess your unique situation to determine whether digital radiography is appropriate.
